Sweet Dress

I made this sweet dress for Caroline last night. I still think I may embroider something on the top but not sure what. Something small and sweet and as soon as I do it I will post a picture of the outcome. I thought the dress came out beautifully. The dress still needs to be hemmed and I am on my way to do it. I had to measure Caroline first. I will be making a top out of this same pattern and pair it will a pair of sweet bloomers.

These would be the perfect shorts/bloomers for a celebration or just every day. I loved the outcome of these so much that I think I will have to make a pair for Caroline. A lollipop, gumball machine or funky flower would be perfect appliques to pair with them.
