A Couple of New Fabrics

Grace's 1st Birthday!

Grace will be turning 1! She is having a "cherry" themed birthday party. I appliqued a top and bib for her to wear on her big day. I hope the big day is just as sweet as her. I have got to see pictures, so please send them to me Tricia.

I also appliqued a little snail on her shirt for Spring. I have got to say that I love the snail.

1st Spring Outfit

This is the 1st Spring outfit I have made for Caroline. I love this pattern! The scalloped edges makes its so sweet. The only bad thing about this pattern is that the largest size it comes in is 24 month. The applique I put on it is one of my new favorites.

There will be more to come. I will be working all weekend. I am so excited!

Some New Fabrics

Ok, I am so excited because all the new Spring and Summer fabrics are out! I bought a few new ones. Most stores don't have them out yet, but will be out next week. I love the new polka dot fabrics. The one on the left reminds me of ice cream, so I will have to do something for Caroline with that fabric and an ice cream theme. The polka dot fabric on the right is so fun! I bubble would be really cute in that. I love the pink and blue fabric. It reminds me of a vintage pattern. I think I will making Caroline a bloomer set to go with that fabric. I also bought some new patterns that I will be trying out in the next week and will post them soon.

Mrs. Krystie's Baby Shower

Last week we attended a shower for our dear friend Krystie. In a few weeks Caroline will have a new friend Julie Ann. I took a lot more pictures, but my camera was on the wrong setting and most of the pictures did not come out very well. While Krystie opened her presents I realized Caroline was missing. I found her digging her hands in the cake.

Sweet Baby Gifts

I made some of these recently. A sweet little onsie with a heart wreath of flowers and an initial in the middle. I found this beautiful pillow case and monogrammed it in a sweet pink. I also have these fabulous crochet appliques. I used one to put on a baby gown. It turned out perfect and unique. I have: flowers, ballet slippers, butterflies, cherries, baby carriages, baby booties, sailboats, trains, trucks, sweet chicks, bunnies, teddy bears, fish, footballs and all sorts of others.
