New Stuff

This fabric in fabulous! I really do love it. These pants have pink ric rac at the bottom.

The baby gowns turned out sweet. I love the crochet appliques. I think they are so classy.

Krispy Kreme!

We brought Caroline to Krispy Kreme this weekend. Although we had been there before; it was the first time for Caroline. She loved it! There were lots of kids there to entertain her and of course the yummy doughnuts. Yes, she loved the hat!

Little Mermaid

Can you tell I have Summer on the brain? I definitely have mermaids on the brain. This mermaid would look precious with any hair color, but of course we did blond.

The polka dot fabric is a new fabric I picked up. I think a bubble or bloomers would look so cute made out of this fabric with green or pink ric rac.

Caroline's Dress Up Party

So Caroline had a rough week this week. It all started last weekend. She was the worst she has ever been, and at church of all places! We decided not to put her in the nursery, since we thought she was coming down with the sniffles. Let me tell you that it was a big mistake! We should have just stayed home because she was miserable and so it made church miserable for us and everyone around us.

On Tuesday she got worse and ended up having a temperature of 103. The poor thing was so lethargic, she even sat in my lap and watched a whole movie! The next day her temperature was 104, and we were off to the doctors. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong and the next day she seemed to perk up.

Thursday we decided to have a dress up party. She was having a ball! She loves to dance. She twirls and twirls. We played music and dance till daddy got home. It was so precious; I actually got to film it.

Later that night Daddy let her play in my jewelry box and with my perfume. So much perfume was sprayed that my head felt like it was about to explode.

I was just glad that she was starting to feel better. This Sunday she will be in the nursery!

Carolines Mermaid Swim Suit and Coverup

Caroline's 1st bikini! I was a bit apprehensive getting Caroline a bikini this year. I wasn't quite sure if she was ready for one just yet. But I fell in love with this bathing suit as soon as I laid eyes on it. Thanks Cookie for the swim suit.

I found this white terry cloth cover up at Old Navy and put a mini monogram of a mermaid to match on it.

Getting Ready For Spring & Summer

I love this tea cup! Doesn't it look so sweet and girly? I wanted to make a shirt to go with these seersucker shorts and I really think it turned out perfect.

So today I got a couple of Caroline's things together for her Spring/Summer. My mom bought these cute little play outfits a few weeks ago at Gymboree and thought I would monogram and applique them. I am really liking the mini monograms these days so I added a lollipop and snow cone. My new favorite design is the snow cone, so I bought a new snow cone applique design this weekend. I will post the picture of the applique tomorrow.
